DataViewer 8.x

Recognizing the need for a simplified GIS user interface without sacrificing functionality, Civil Solutions has developed and continues to improve our series of DataViewer products. DataViewer 8.x is an extension to ArcGIS 8.x, and is designed to simplify the casual end user’s experience with desktop GIS.

While completely customizable, the DataViewer extension comes with the following standard functionality:

Point-and-click access to a number of preconfigured GIS layers         Link to MOD IV database         Point-and-click access to digital orthos         Search and zoom to parcel by block and lot         Search for parcel by lead or additional lot(s)         Zoom to street address or to entire street         View digital photographs of property         Generate buffer around parcel(s) by any distance (e.g., 200’           notification list, 1000’ drug-free school zone)         Create property owners lists for mailing         Generate mail merge notification letters
