Senior GIS Specialist
The current opportunity is a senior-level GIS Specialist
position supporting enterprise GIS implementations using ESRI products and best
of breed technologies. Working under supervision, responsibilities will include
working with geodatabases, mapservice publishing, performing software
installations and occasional on site support.
Minimum 5 years of GIS experience required. Proficiency with
geodatabases, ArcIMS mapservices and an understanding of networking
fundamentals is also necessary. Experience programming (.NET or Java) with ESRI
products (ArcObjects, ArcXML, etc.), familiarity with FGDC metadata standard,
SQL Server or Oracle RDBMS or web publishing is desired. This position requires
the ability and initiative to work independently and on a team. Excellent
communication skills are required for participation with our internal team,
interaction with clients, and technical support for end users.

GIS Software Sales Representative:

We currently have an opening for a GIS Software Sales
Representative. Responsibilities will include the research, marketing, sales,
purchasing, and invoicing of GIS software resales performed by our company.
Additional responsibilities could include software training, project
management, technical GIS work, cartographic map production, meta data
creation, and information management.
This position requires the ability and initiative to work
independently and on a team. Candidates must be organized, reliable, and have a
willingness to learn new things. Proficient communication skills are required
since the position includes participation with our internal team, interaction
with clients, and technical support for end users.

GIS Cartographer/Specialist:
Civil Solutions is seeking GIS professionals to add to our team
which focuses its efforts primarily in the municipal, utility, and A/E/C
markets in the New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania areas.
The current opportunities include entry and mid-level GIS
cartography, production and analyst positions. Responsibilities will include
augmenting our existing production staff with cartographic map production, data
analyses, data development, data maintenance, meta data creation, and
information management. Production work will be primarily performed in the ESRI
ArcGIS environment.
A minimum of one (1) year experience with cartography and
proficiency in ESRI’s ArcView 9.x is required. This position requires the
ability and initiative to work independently and on a team. Adequate
communication skills are required since the position includes participation
with our internal team, interaction with clients, and technical support for end
users.
Salary will be based on qualifications. However, the anticipated

CAD Technician:
Civil Solutions is presently seeking AutoCAD technicians to add
to our GIS team which focuses its efforts primarily in the local government,
utility, and A/E/C markets.
The current opportunities are based primarily on our increased
production demand and are for entry- to mid-level production positions.
Responsibilities will include data development in the AutoCAD environment,
database coding, and data quality control. Each member of our data development
team receives GIS training and is exposed to a variety of GIS-related projects.
This position requires the ability and initiative to work independently and on
a team. Salary will be based on qualifications.
