Application Developer
Description:
Civil Solutions is presently seeking full-time or part-time computer programmers to add to our
team which focuses its efforts primarily in the municipal, utility, and A/E/C markets.
Civil Solutions is the geospatial technologies division of Adams, Rehmann & Heggan Associates, Inc.,
a mid-sized, Hammonton (NJ) based consulting engineering, planning, surveying and environmental
science firm. Civil Solutions is an Esri Silver Partner and active member in the State and local
geospatial community with projects extending across the tri-state area.
The current opportunity covers a broad scope of programming needs and is not specific to a particular
experience level. Responsibilities will include designing new web and desktop applications, supporting
existing code, and customizing applications. While experience in all of the following items is not
necessary, applicants should provide specific details regarding their experience in:
- Programming technologies (ASP.NET + ASP.NET MVC, C#, Java, JavaScript + JavaScript Frameworks
(jQuery, Dojo), HTML/CSS, WPF)
- Programming environments (Web, Desktop, Server, Mobile)
- Esri Software (ArcGIS suite)
- Working with current IDE’s (Visual Studio 2010, JDeveloper, etc.)
- Operating Systems (Windows Server 2008, Red Hat or SUSE Linux)
- Databases (SQL Server 2005, Oracle Database, MongoDB)
- Source Control (Subversion)
